Its about time for this young male. Skybolt is the son of Frosty who is the daughter of Tiki. His children would be the 4th generation being hatched here of this family line. He is an English budgie. His coloring is skyblue though he is split to lacewing from his mother Frosty. His father is Big Blue a very large proud father of many chicks here. He is well over a year old and ready to be a great dad.

His mates name is Honey Bell. She is a Grey Green Spangle that was purchased just for Skybolt.

The pairing of the two could give many different offspring. Lacewings, Spangles, Grey Greens, (possibley Greys is she is split to blue), normal greens (possible Blues), and combinations of those.

 

06/30/08 They have three chicks that hatched out of 4 eggs. The oldest chick is a green of some sort. The second looks like it might be a lacewing though it is at least a lutino. The third chick I don't know yet. They have some red spots on the shoulders from what I am not sure though it does not appear as if the parents are plucking. It developed recently so all bedding has been changed after that picture was taken for thier health.
