Ringneck Doves
Ringneck doves are a riot when the boy starts making his sounds. All he needs is a little light from the computer screen in the middle of the night and he starts hooting. A slightly larger bird they need some room to be able to fly around. They don't climb on cage bars like parrotlike birds. They also enjoy throwing thier seed all over when eating so some sort of device to prevent this or a way of catching the seed so it doesn't go to waste is recomended. Lots of different color mutations are availible for this species. We only have one pair in our flock though they are very prolific and give a few different colors.

Eventually we will add more genetics and mutations to our flock as we find more of a market for homes for the chicks that we breed and raise. Being very prolific birds there are lots of them out there and they can be overbred very easily which is what we would like to avoid. One of the markets that we have started into is for local Magicians. They seem to like doves because of the easy nature of the bird though most want plain white birds. So as the market grows so will our flock.
